Formerly known as Art’s Electric, AE Electrical Solutions
was built on a vision of signature craftsmanship, unsurpassed quality, and effective problem-solving. From humble beginnings in 1971, Art Montfort founded the company with only himself, a truck, and a strong work ethic. Over time, Art’s Electric became known for doing things the right way, while providing excellent customer service – two values that still hold true to this day.
After almost half a century in business, the employees bought the company in 2014, which began the next evolution of what the company will become with a new name, look, and feel. Widely regarded as the premier industrial electrical contractor in Central Kentucky, we enter into the next 50 years of business adding more capabilities, offerings, and services to best serve our current and future customers. Today our employee owned company is known as AE Electrical Solutions.
While the name is different, the vision this company was built upon remains the same – an unrelenting passion for quality and superior craftsmanship with experience in solving the most difficult of challenges. safety program is comprehensive. For the last 10 years, our experience modification rate has remained 20-40 percent better than the average. We believe that is directly related to our excellent safety program that includes an onsite safety team, employee background checks, driving record reviews, a drug and alcohol testing program, and written safety policies and procedures included in the employee handbook. Ongoing employee training in OSHA, MSHA, and National Electrical Code requirements are also key factors.
